Just yesterday during Club Penguin's update, Fireworks appeared on the island surprisingly. Some people said it was due to the "Guy Fawkes Day" on November 5th. But then I thought it can be due to Diwali (an Festival celebrated in India which is also called the "Festival of Lights"). When I woke up today and checked the What's New blog, I saw this post by Polo Field which explains much of this unexpected Fireworks. Here's what he posted:

Hello Penguins!Here at Club Penguin, we are always looking for a good party! It's true, we LOVE celebrating whenever we get the chance. Some of you may have seen the fireworks already and are wondering why. To celebrate of course!In some places around the world, the Festival of Lights is celebrated with the lighting of fireworks and sparklers that light up the night sky. So we added some fireworks to Club Penguin!
